Emre Engin started playing the violin at the Uludag University State Conservatory with Ozgur Ozkok. He since has had a chance to work with a number of outstanding violinists including Cihat Askin, Maxim Vengerov, Pinchas Zukerman, Hagai Shaham, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Juri Zhislin, Eduard Grach, Shlomo Mintz, Vadim Gluzman, Ani Schnarch and Jan Repko. He finished his bachelor of music studies with a “First Class” diploma at the Royal College of Music, where he studied with Prof. Itzhak Rashkovsky and was kindly supported by the Yehudi Menuhin Award, Talent Unlimited Foundation and the CEV Harika Yetenekler Project. Emre has just finished his master’s degree at Manhattan School of Music with Maestro Pinchas Zukerman, where he was on a full scholarship and took many major solo and chamber awards.
Emre has participated and performed in many major music festivals such as Keshet Eilon International String Mastercourse, New Virtuosi, London Britten Festival, International Istanbul Music Festival, Tunusia Young Virtuoso Festival, Ottawa Young Artists Summer Festival and Crans Montana Classics.
